Andrea is a first-generation Ukrainian American who learned to make pysanky from her mother when she was five years old. Andrea will be at the museum all morning, sharing her art publicly with younger children and families in the Makery. In the afternoon, she will host a closed workshop that will use hot wax and real eggs. This workshop is ticketed and recommended for children ages 8+. This project is supported in part by an award from the National Endowment for the Arts, and made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
